Basketball Recap: Oswego Piles Up the Points Against Plainfield Central

The third road contest was the charm for Oswego, as they earned their first road win of the season. They blew past the Plainfield Central Wildcats 62-25 on Thursday. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 40-16.

Oswego has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.4 points per game. As for Plainfield Central, they dropped their record down to 1-13 with the defeat, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Oswego will head out on the road to take on Oswego East at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Plainfield Central, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Aurora East at 2:30 p.m. Plainfield Central is facing Aurora East at the right time seeing as Aurora East is stuck on a ten-game losing streak.
