Soccer Recap: Ceres Comes Up Short

If Ceres was feeling good fresh off their 5-0 takedown of Beyer on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Central Valley Hawks by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. Considering the last time Ceres couldn't score was back in December of 2025, the team can't take the result too hard.

Ceres' loss dropped their record down to 8-8-5. As for Central Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-10-6 record this season.

Ceres has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Christian Brothers on the 14th. Central Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
