Soccer Game Preview: Hayden vs. Seaman

The Hayden Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Seaman Vikings at 6:15 p.m. on Monday. Hayden's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Hayden is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Maur Hill Prep-Mount Academy on Thursday. The Wildcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ravens.

Meanwhile, Seaman didn't have quite enough to beat De Soto on Thursday and fell 2-1.

Seaman now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Hayden, their loss dropped their record down to 0-8.

Hayden beat Seaman by a goal in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, winning 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
