Softball Game Preview: Powell County Pirates vs. Burgin Bulldogs

The Powell County Pirates will take on the Burgin Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Powell County is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Last Friday, Powell County came up short against Bell County and fell 11-6.

Powell County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Kincaid, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Burgin came up short against Berea on Tuesday, falling 18-2. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly 16 runs.

This is the second loss in a row for Burgin and nudges their season record down to 1-3. As for Powell County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
