Baseball Recap: Fleming Takes a Loss

Fleming fell victim to Floyd County and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Buffaloes, falling 13-0. The defeat leaves the Colonels still looking for their first win of the season.

Fleming's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Floyd County, their victory ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-1.

Looking ahead, Fleming will square off against Roanoke Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Colonels are facing the Celtics at the right time seeing as the Celtics are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Floyd County, they will take on Patrick Henry at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
