 On Tuesday, Capital faced Boise in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Everything went the Capital Golden Eagles' way against the Boise Brave as the Capital Golden Eagles made off with  a  15-3 win. Capital might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won four matches by seven  runs or more this season.
  McKenna Chavez was  incredible,  going 3-for-3 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and a  triple. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last four times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Lizzy Turpen, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 4-for-4.
 On Boise's side, they saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Lucy Hopstad, who  went 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 Capital is  on a roll lately: they've  won five of their last six matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 6-3 record  this season. As for Boise, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 8-4.
 Capital will look to defend their home field  on Wednesday against Borah at 5:00  p.m. Borah's pitching crew has only allowed 3.7  runs per game  this season, so Capital's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Boise, they will head out on the road to  challenge  Centennial at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Boise is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 8.9  runs per game this season.
