Maiden and East Lincoln are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2018, but not for long. The Blue Devils will head out to take on the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Maiden will be strutting in after a victory while East Lincoln will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, Maiden made easy work of Bandys and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Blue Devils in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won three in a row.

Maiden's got stronger as the match went on, holding Bandys to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-20, 25-13.

Meanwhile, East Lincoln lost 3-0 to Hickory on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Mustangs in their meetings with the Red Tornadoes: they've now lost six in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-18, 25-16.

East Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Maiden, their win bumped their record up to 17-3.

Maiden took their victory against East Lincoln in their previous matchup back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Blue Devils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
