Basketball Recap: Beal City Comes Up Short

Beal City lost against Evart back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Beal City Aggies lost 56-36 to the Evart Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Aggies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Wildcats are ranked 51st).

This is the second loss in a row for Beal City and nudges their season record down to 6-8. As for Evart, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Beal City has already played their next game (against St. Mary), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Evart didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 63-17 win against Lake City on the 30th.
