Basketball Recap: Fullerton Piles Up the Points Against Orange

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Fullerton). They simply couldn't be stopped on Tuesday as they easily beat the Orange Panthers 70-21. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Indians had established a 48-point advantage.

Fullerton's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jadon Reed led the charge by putting up 12 points and five steals. Those five steals gave Reed a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxton Wink, who posted ten points along with five assists and three steals.

Fullerton was working as a unit and finished the game with 18 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Orange only racked up six.

Fullerton moved to 2-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak. As for Orange, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Coming up, Fullerton will take on San Gorgonio in a tournament on Monday. As for Orange, they will host Patriot at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
