Volleyball Recap: Jenison's Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Jenison came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Otsego Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Karis Chatfield paced Jenison's offense, picking up ten kills. Chatfield got some help from Erin Eriks and her 26 assists. Payton Buchanan controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Jenison's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Otsego, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-2.

Jenison will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Reeths-Puffer at 6:00 p.m. on September 11. Otsego has already played their next contest (against Kalamazoo Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
