A well-balanced attack led Laguna Acoma over McCurdy in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Laguna Acoma Hawks blew the McCurdy Bobcats out of the water with a 57-23 final score. The Hawks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 27 points or more this season.

Leading Laguna Acoma to victory were Jazmyne Carrillo and Gianna Carrillo. Jazmyne went 5 for 8 on her way to 14 points and five rebounds, while Gianna went 9 of 18 on her way to 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tavani Scott, who posted seven points.

Laguna Acoma pushed their record up to 5-4 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for McCurdy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-5.

It'll be Battle of the Birds when the Laguna Acoma Hawks duke it out with the Zuni Thunderbirds at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McCurdy, they will take on Dulce at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday.
