South extends road winning streak to seven

Recap: South Bulldogs vs. West Cowboys
The South Bulldogs entered their tilt with the West Cowboys with nine consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with ten. South walked away with a 53-40 victory over West on Friday. Given South's advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 103rd, while West is ranked 491st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
South can attribute much of their success to Maurice Mccall, who scored 15 points. Marquan Felts-Lipsey was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
South pushed their record up to 16-3 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for West, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-12.
South will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Columbus Academy at 5:30 p.m. on February 21st. West does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
