Recap: Cowanesque Valley Indians vs. North Penn-Liberty Mountie
The Cowanesque Valley Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They walked away with a 55-43 win over North Penn-Liberty. The victory was just what Cowanesque Valley needed coming off of a 65-32 defeat in their prior game.
Several Mountie players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Daniel Harman, who scored six points along with ten rebounds and five steals. Those five steals set a new season-high mark for him. Luke Kreger was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
The win got Cowanesque Valley back to even at 2-2. As for North Penn-Liberty, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cowanesque Valley will be home for the holidays to greet Austin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Penn-Liberty will be home for the holidays to greet Canton at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
