Football Preview: Godby Cougars vs. Baker County Wildcats        
        
		
             The Godby Cougars will challenge the Baker County Wildcats at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Godby will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak  alive.
 Last Friday, Godby beat Chiles 14-6.
 Godby's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but  Jamarin Simmons led the charge by picking up 204 receiving yards and a touchdown.  Tylan Vickers was another key pass catcher, picking up 135 receiving yards and a touchdown.
 Godby's defense was in the mix too, especially the secondary: they snagged two passes before it was all said and done. The picks came courtesy of  Devin Anderson and  Lacari Murray.
 Baker County aren't just finding success at home, as their game  on Friday extended their overall winning streak to three. They were the clear victor by  a  45-24 margin over Baldwin. The result was nothing new for the Wildcats, who have now won three matchups by 21  points or more  so far this season.
 Baker County's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Hudson Hodges, who picked up 153 receiving yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. Hodges' longest reception was for an incredible 95 yards. Another player making a difference was  Hudson Register, who threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 passes.
 Godby is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games,  which provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record  this season. As for Baker County, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.
