Basketball Recap: Lisbon Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Lisbon faced off against Central City on Friday. The Lisbon Lions took a 67-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Central City Wildcats. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Lisbon's loss dropped their record down to 14-6. As for Central City, their victory bumped their record up to 6-14.

Lisbon has already played their next contest (against Tipton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Central City, they will be playing at home against Starmont at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Starmont has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
