Basketball Recap: Whitney Wins Going Away Against St. Margaret's

Whitney hadn't done well against St. Margaret recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Whitney Wildcats took down the St. Margaret's Tartans 66-51. For the Wildcats, this counts as revenge for the 64-55 victory the Tartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2023.

The win got Whitney back to even at 7-7. As for St. Margaret's, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitney and Sunny Hills will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest having both just played. Sunny Hills is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 52.1 points per game this season. As for St. Margaret's, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Godinez Fundamental at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
