Football Game Preview: Gateway Olympians vs. Thornton Trojans + How To Watch

The Gateway Olympians will challenge the Thornton Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gateway hasn't scored more than seven points for three games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Gateway is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Sand Creek on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Olympians were outmatched by the Scorpions and fell 48-6. The Olympians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 41-0.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 63-13, which was the final score in Thornton's tilt against Cheyenne Mountain on Thursday. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Red-Tailed Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Thornton's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Gateway, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
