Frazier Mountain scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They were beaten by the California City Ravens 102-55. Even if the Falcons couldn't come away with the victory, the high-scoring effort was a great turnaround for their offense, which had struggled int the games prior.

Leading California City to victory were Cassius 'Hollywood' Brown and Avery 'Skywalker' Spears. Brown went 9 for 11 on his way to 21 points along with five assists and three steals, while Spears almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine boards. Spears is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of DeShawn 'Pocket Magic' Elizalde, who went 6 of 11 en route to 14 points.

Frazier Mountain is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9. As for California City, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 15-7.
