Football Game Recap: Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman vs. River Ridge

Their game last Friday wasn't at all kind to River Ridge, but their most recent matchup may have softened the blow. They took down Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman 32-14.

The contest started off well for River Ridge, whose offense put up 20 first-half points. Meanwhile, Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 20-0 heading into the break. Although River Ridge wound up losing the second-half battle, they still had enough in reserve to win the war.

The victory bumped River Ridge's record up to 4-5. Hoopeston/Armstrong/Schlarman are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7. Both of these squads appear to be finished for the season, as they have no upcoming games scheduled.
