Volleyball Recap: Frederick Comes Up Short

Frederick was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Boonsboro Warriors. If the Cadets were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Warriors when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16, 25-9.

Kaniyah Ball paced Frederick's offense, picking up 11 kills. Ball got some help from Kendall Ortiz and her 19 assists.

Frederick's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Boonsboro, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-6 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Frederick will host Saint James at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Boonsboro, they will be playing at home against Governor Thomas Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
