Baseball Recap: Zimmerman Comes Up Short

Zimmerman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 16-6 to the Spring Lake Park Panthers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-6 on Monday.

Zimmerman's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Spring Lake Park, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-5.

Zimmerman has already played their next match (against Monticello), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Spring Lake Park, they have also already played their next game, a 6-1 defeat against Andover on the 1st.
