The Granger Lancers gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Ben Lomond a 2-0 shutout. Granger's winning goal came courtesy of Abraham Vargas.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Granger will challenge Bingham at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Ben Lomond, they will head out on the road to face off against St. Joseph at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
