Basketball Recap: Everett Takes a Loss

Everett was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 80-41 loss at the hands of the Whitney Wildcats.

Everett's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Whitney, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season.

Everett will face off against Monroe at 8:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Whitney, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Auburn Riverside at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Whitney knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven games -- so hopefully Auburn Riverside likes a good challenge.
