Soccer Recap: Lehigh Takes a Loss

Lehigh fought the good fight in their overtime contest against North Fort Myers on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Knights by a score of 3-2. It was the first time this season that Lehigh let down their fans at home.

Nehemias Benito-Bautista and Anthony Berrios scored both of Lehigh's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 19 goals.

Lehigh's loss dropped their record down to 9-2-1. As for North Fort Myers, their victory bumped their record up to 9-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Lehigh will head out to take on Island Coast at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for North Fort Myers, they will venture away from home to challenge Mariner at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
