Recap: Silver Creek Raiders vs. Piedmont Hills Pirates
The Silver Creek Raiders were the 52-50 winner over the Piedmont Hills Pirates when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Silver Creek fell 66-54 to Piedmont Hills on Thursday. Silver Creek has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Piedmont Hills was led to victory by Christian Arciaga and Brian Pham. Arciaga scored 16 points along with 5 rebounds, while Pham scored 24 points. That makes it two consecutive games in which Pham has scored at least 25% of Piedmont Hills' points. The team also got some help courtesy of Angelo Lonero, who scored 8 points along with 5 rebounds.
Silver Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Piedmont Hills, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Silver Creek will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Evergreen Valley at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th. As for Piedmont Hills, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Overfelt at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
