Softball Preview: Bronson Vikings vs. Brandywine Bobcats
The Bronson Vikings will head out on the road to square off against the Brandywine Bobcats at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Two weeks ago, Bronson got the win against Cedar Springs by a conclusive 8-2.
Meanwhile, Brandywine waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 12-2 margin over the Wildcats.
Bronson's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Brandywine, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
Everything went Bronson's way against Brandywine in their previous meeting back in May of 2023 as Bronson made off with an 11-2 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Bronson since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
