            Football Recap: Loudon Redskins vs. Rhea County Golden Eagles        
        
		
        
        
            After soaring to 41  points the game before, Loudon was a bit more limited  in their  matchup  on Friday. They lost  28-7 to the Rhea County Golden Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Redskins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Golden Eagles are ranked 44th).
  Mason Ford produced another solid  effort rushing for 134 yards and a pair of  scores on only 15 carries for Rhea County. Ford's rushing production has been exceptional  as that marked his fifth straight game with at least 127  rushing yards. The team also got some help courtesy of  Jaxton Schmitt, who threw for 106 yards and two  TDs on only ten passes.
Loudon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Rhea County,  the  victory made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 7-1.
 Loudon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next  contest,  a  20-17  win against Signal Mountain on the 24th. As for Rhea County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next  game,  a  34-6  victory against McMinn County on the 24th.
