Basketball Recap: Bunker Hill Comes Up Short

Bunker Hill lost against St. Stephens on December 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bunker Hill Bears took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Stephens Indians. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Bunker Hill still got an impressive performance from Rachel Beck, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 11 boards.

Bunker Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for St. Stephens, their win bumped their record up to 4-6.

Bunker Hill will be taking part in a tournament against Hickory at 9:00 a.m. on Monday. Bunker Hill is facing Hickory at the right time seeing as Hickory is stuck on a four-game losing streak. St. Stephens and Foard will round out the year against one another at at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Foard is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 57 points per game this season.
