Cordova extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Trey Wallace. The Lancers skirted past the McClatchy Lions 34-32 thanks in part to Wallace, who rushed for 161 yards and four scores on only 14 carries, and also threw for 132 yards on eight of 16 attempts. He is becoming a predictor of Cordova's success: when he posts at least 100 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-2 when he doesn't).

One reason for the win was Cordova's imposing defensive line, which managed to get into the backfield for five sacks. Savion Thomas was particularly dangerous to the passing game, picking up two himself.

The victory got Cordova back to even at 3-3. As for McClatchy, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cordova will host Antelope at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
