Franklin entered their tilt with Canton on Monday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bulldogs. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 3-1 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in September of 2024.

Franklin not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Canton between 13 and 16 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-16, 25-13.

Emerson Delleo paced Franklin's offense, picking up nine kills. Delleo got some help from Phoebe O'Connor and her 22 assists. O'Connor was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Franklin's record is now 10-2. As for Canton, their defeat ended a four-match streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin will face off against rival Sharon at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Canton is set to square off against their familiar foe Mansfield at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
