Recap: Pembroke Dragons vs. Attica Blue Devils
The Pembroke Dragons won the last time they faced the Attica Blue Devils, and things went their way on Wednesday too. Pembroke managed a 41-37 win over Attica. The squad ran away with 31 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the victory.
Leading Pembroke to victory were Peyton Liss and Elle Peterson. Liss scored 11 points along with six rebounds and five steals, while Peterson almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 15 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Seneca Calderon, who scored eight points along with three steals.
The victory makes it two in a row for Pembroke and bumps their season record up to 11-7. As for Attica, their loss dropped their record down to 2-5.
Pembroke will be playing in front of their home fans against Holley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Pembroke focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Wednesday. As for Attica, they will head out on the road to square off against Kendall at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Attica will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps New York Rankings (they are ranked 494th, while Kendall is ranked 141st).
