Baseball Recap: Cambridge Comes Up Short

Cambridge fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Gann Academy on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Red Heifers by a score of 7-6. The Gryphons haven't had much luck with the Red Heifers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

Cambridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Gann Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-5.

Cambridge has already played their next contest, a 16-14 defeat against Boston Trinity Academy on the 8th. As for Gann Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-3 victory against Brimmer & May on the 11th.
