Basketball Recap: Macon Tigers vs. Milan Wildcats
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Mexico, Macon was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They breezed by the Milan Wildcats to the tune of 53-25. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Tigers had established a 22 point advantage.
Despite the loss, Milan had strong showings from Tony Linhart, who posted eight points and six rebounds, and Macky Sow, who had three points and six boards. Linhart is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.
Macon's win bumped their record up to 2-9. As for Milan, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.
