Bellaire had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Mancelona Ironmen. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bellaire saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Shumaker, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run and one RBI.

The win got Bellaire back to even at 3-3. As for Mancelona, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 8-3.

Coming up, Bellaire will face off against East Jordan at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Mancelona, they will welcome Frankfort at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
