Volleyball Recap: Memorial Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Memorial had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eastwood Troopers. That's more bragging rights for the Warriors, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Faith Roulston-Aliu paced Memorial's offense, picking up eight kills. Roulston-Aliu got some help from Addison Childers and her 13 assists. Ava Funderburk and Julianna (Jules) Hernandez kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Memorial's record now sits at 4-1. As for Eastwood, their defeat was their first of the season and also makes their record 4-1.

Memorial didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Waxahachie on the 15th. As for Eastwood, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Arlington on the 15th.
