Baseball Recap: Workman Takes a Loss

After flying high against Bassett last Friday, Workman came back down to earth. The Lobos took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pomona Red Devils on Wednesday. The Lobos haven't had much luck with the Red Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Workman's loss dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Pomona, they moved to 4-9-1 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Looking ahead, Workman will take on Edgewood at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lobos' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Lions have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season. As for Pomona, they will challenge Bassett at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
