Baseball Recap: Dansville Takes a Loss

After flying high against Caledonia-Mumford on Tuesday, Dansville came back down to earth. The Mustangs fell 6-1 to the Livonia Bulldogs on Wednesday. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Bulldogs from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Jake Kreiley made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base.

Dansville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Livonia, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3.

Dansville didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 win against Warsaw on the 26th. As for Livonia, they will face off against Kendall at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 3.2, the Eagles 1) so any runs scored will be well earned.
