Yulee waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They had just enough and edged the First Coast Buccaneers out 3-2. Three seems to be a good number for the Hornets as the team scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Yulee has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4-1 record this season. As for First Coast, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 8-4-2.

Yulee wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 0-0 draw against Episcopal School of Jacksonville on the 20th. As for First Coast, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Andrew Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
