Basketball Recap: Steinbrenner Warriors vs. Gateway Eagles
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Steinbrenner had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They secured a 51-45 W over the Gateway Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Naomi Parker continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, putting up 24 points and three steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sarah Coble, who put up eight points and seven boards.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was V'Davrielle Johnson, who went 7-for-10 to rack up 15 points. Johnson has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Kenyah Moss was another key player, earning 11 points and seven rebounds.
Steinbrenner's record is now 25-3. As for Gateway, their loss dropped their record down to 23-6.
Coming up, Steinbrenner will face off against Sickles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sickles will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Steinbrenner surely won't give up without a fight. Gateway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
