It was a good run, but South Mountain unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Monday. They came up short against the Maryvale Panthers, falling 3-0. One thing that didn't help the Jaguars' chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Anthony Velarde.

South Mountain's defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 9-4-1. As for Maryvale, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-6-2.
