Football Recap: Bosco Tech Comes Up Short

Bosco Tech extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 11 on Thursday, dropping them down to 0-2. They were beaten by the Wilson Mules 70-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 56-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

As for Wilson, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 57.5 points this season.

Adrian Anaya went supernova, rushing for 161 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in September of 2024. Jacob Gillis was another key back, rushing for 66 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries.

Coming up, Bosco Tech will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Trinity Classical Academy at 7:00 p.m. on September 6. As for Wilson, they will venture away from home to challenge Lawndale at 7:00 p.m. on September 5.
