Football Game Preview: Anadarko Warriors vs. North Rock Creek Cougars + Official Tickets

The Anadarko Warriors will venture away from home to take on the North Rock Creek Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Anadarko will be strutting in after a win while North Rock Creek will be coming in after a defeat.

Anadarko took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Kingfisher by a score of 21-14. The score was all tied up 7-7 at the break, but the Warriors were the better team in the second half.

Anadarko's defense made their presence known, laying out Jhett Birdwell four times. Leading the way was Troy Pendarvis with two sacks.

Meanwhile, North Rock Creek didn't have quite enough to beat Plainview on Friday and fell 21-18. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Anadarko's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-2. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.4 points over those games. As for North Rock Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.

Things could have been worse for Anadarko, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 41-26 loss to North Rock Creek in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. Thankfully for the Warriors, Caleb Hawkins (who rushed for 143 yards and four touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
