The Hubbertville Lions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Brilliant Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
After a string of three wins, Hubbertville's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 58-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marion County. While losing is never fun, Hubbertville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 260th, while Marion County is ranked 90th).
Meanwhile, Brilliant beat Vina 65-53 on Monday.
Hubbertville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Brilliant, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2.
