Volleyball Recap: ALA - Queen Creek Gets the Win

ALA - Queen Creek's tournament run continued when they took on Monument Valley on Friday. The Patriots came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Tatum Riggs paced ALA - Queen Creek's offense, picking up eight kills. Riggs got some help from Mckenna Kehoe and her 15 assists. Kehoe and Riggs didn't slow down when it came to serving: they led the team with two apiece.

Despite the loss, Monument Valley still got an impressive performance from Kamron Secakuku, who had eight digs.

ALA - Queen Creek's victory bumped their record up to 11-6. As for Monument Valley, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-3.

ALA - Queen Creek wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Verrado on the 19th. As for Monument Valley, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Chaparral on the 19th.
