Monmouth-Roseville strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 49-13 victory over the Sherrard Tigers. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 28-7.

Landon Montroy produced another solid performance rushing for 84 yards and two TDs.

Monmouth-Roseville's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Nick Huston, Cody Johnson, and Andrew Way, who each picked up one sack apiece. Huston was another major factor on D, picking up a sack and making nine total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Monmouth-Roseville's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Sherrard, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
