Clay waltzed into their match on Monday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Eastern Warriors as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-15, 25-20.

Clay's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Heidi Smith, who had 21 digs and two aces. Smith has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

Clay's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Eastern, their defeat was their seventh straight at home, which dropped their record down to 1-16.

Clay didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Glenwood on the 30th. As for Eastern, they will welcome Fayetteville-Perry at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
