The Central Crossing Comets came out on top against the Heath Bulldogs by a score of 50-37 on Saturday thanks in part to Hamilton, who went 10 of 16 on her way to 25 points in addition to eight boards and six steals. That's the most points she has posted since back in December of 2023.

When it comes to explaining why Heath lost, don't look at Peyton Del Cecato. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 boards. Del Cecato is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kailyn Holmberg, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds.

Central Crossing's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Heath, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

The future could be bright for both Central Crossing and Heath: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Central Crossing will try to hand Hilliard Davidson their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
