Football Game Preview: Excelsior Charter vs. Granite Hills

Granite Hills looks to establish their home field advantage on Friday as they take on Excelsior Charter at 7:00 PM. Granite Hills are coming into the contest hot, having won three in a row.

Last week, Granite Hills put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Mark Keppel to the tune of 68-0. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 47-0.

Meanwhile, after soaring high against New Designs Watts two weeks ago, Icarus fell to the ground. Excelsior Charter were given a punishing 6-55 defeat at the hands of Linfield Christian. Excelsior Charter were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 0-35.

Granite Hills's victory lifted them to 4-1 while Excelsior Charter's loss dropped them down to 1-4. In their victory, Granite Hills relied heavily on taeshaun Brown, who rushed for 200 yards and 4 touchdowns. Excelsior Charter will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
