Peyton Gargis gave up the fewest hits he has since back in April of 2024 on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he didn't allow a single hit and allowed only two earned runs while striking out six over five innings pitched. He also allowed no hits, which is notable because Colbert County is 2-1 when he allows at most three hits, but 6-9 otherwise.
