North Kingstown lost against East Providence back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The North Kingstown Skippers took a 56-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the East Providence Townies. The contest marked the Skippers' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Several Skippers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Landon Bodington, who went 7 of 13 en route to 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Michael Deorsey, who posted 12 points.

North Kingstown now has a losing record at 2-3. As for East Providence, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

North Kingstown wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 71-64 win against Smithfield on the 7th. As for East Providence, they will face off against Classical at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Classical is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 66.3 points per game this season.
